Thrivent Financial standardizes its CRM operations

Non-profit financial firm picks Salesforce.com's Wealth Management platform. Financial-planning firm Thrivent Financial for Lutherans is using CRM vendor Salesforce.com 's Salesforce for Wealth Management to standardize its customer-contact and tracking applications.
Minneapolis and Appleton, Wisc.-based Thrivent picked Salesforce.com or its "rich functionality, delivery model and for the positive reviews we heard from other firms," according to Betsy Ordal, vice president of field development at Thrivent.
Force.com
The organization is using the Force.com Platform to customize the product and integrate it with existing applications, including its corporate e-mail system. Thrivent Financial is also using Force.com AppExchange applications.
With the help of Salesforce.com's consulting arm and its partner Deloitte, Thrivent Financial is deploying Salesforce for Wealth Management to more than 4,500 financial representatives and support staff throughout the country. The company is using Salesforce.com's Force.com Platform to customize the application and integrate it with existing systems, including its corporate email system. Thrivent is also using Force.com AppExchange applications for additional functionality.
Salesforce for Wealth Management is used by private-banking groups, retail brokers and independent RIAs of all sizes including Merrill Lynch, Citigroup, E-Trade and United Capital Financial Advisors.
